Hoot the horn owl
In this blog post I am going to write about horn owls. I choose the horn owl as my mascot as it is very similar to me in many ways.

1. How do they sleep ? Keeping their talons tightly gripped on a branch, the owlets lie down on their stomachs, turned their heads to the side, and fell asleep. Their naps are short, and when they are asleep, they do not like to be awakened, even to be fed.

2. How do they get food ?Like other birds, Owls cannot chew their food – small prey items are swallowed whole, while larger prey are torn into smaller pieces before being swallowed. Some Owl species will partially pluck bird and larger mammal prey. Unlike other birds, Owls have no Crop.

3. What colours do their feathers have? black an dwhite and lots ore

4. How many eggs do they lay ? In general, owls lay between 1 and 13 eggs, depending on the species, although for most species it is 2–5 eggs [60]. Incubation begins with the first egg being laid. During incubation, the eggs are rarely left alone.

5. In what way do they resemble me? i just love them and sometimes i im as quait as them

i created a slide show all about the never ending storey. 9my class and scw all made slides




it was part of a unit on the heroes quest. We watched a video about how most stories are based on comming element of storytelling. The video showed us that harry potter, star wars and the wizard of oz all have similar.
